LIVING IN CHRIST

Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 

Man is incomplete without Jesus; a relationship without love is on the verge of separation because it is the bond that binds two together to become one. Our relationship with Jesus is the bond that binds us together with God. Having the full knowledge of your salvation will put the devil perpetually under your feet. Many are born again, but they have no knowledge of their salvation, and the devil continues to take advantage of their ignorance, but today will mark the end of all his operations in your life, in Jesus' name. It is very important to know what we are doing and why. People often take a lackadaisical approach towards things they don't know. The reason for the teaching priest in the Old Testament is for them to teach the people and give them understanding of the law of God (Jeremiah 3:15). 

As believers, our confidence comes from our awareness that Christ is in us and that we are incomplete without him. It assures us of our future. The boldness of the disciples of Jesus comes from the consciousness of who they are in Christ. 

Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

The death and the resurrection of Christ are the best things that have ever happened to humanity; without them, our Christian journey will be in vain. His death and resurrection are the symbols of our salvation. For a man to be born again, the old man needs to die so that a new man can emerge. Giving our lives to Christ is our willingness to surrender and let the old man die so that the new man, which is the form Christ can live.  Flesh and blood are what make a man a physical being, and Christ said that for us to live in him, we need to eat and drink his blood. It signifies complete transformation

John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Our eternity is guaranteed because he lives in us; our hope of a glorious future is guaranteed because he lives in us. Christ in us is our hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Without Christ, we have nothing to glory in; our uniqueness comes from the understanding of our oneness with Christ. Because we live in Him, whatever makes him uncomfortable automatically makes us uncomfortable, and that is why those who are truly living in Christ can never be comfortable with sin. 

People keep looking for something to satisfy a craving that they don't know how to describe; they want to fill the void, the emptiness they feel, and that is why they get into addiction, because they know something is missing, but they can't just figure it out. It is the nature of man to feel emptiness because a void was created during the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. That void is what Jesus Christ came to fill, and if you are not in Christ, you will continue to look for how to fill that gap. I have good news for you, search no more because Christ in you is your hope of a glorious future. Having great possessions and riches does not make a complete man or woman. The rich man who came to Jesus had everything except the decision to follow Jesus. He could not make that decision, and that was the only thing lacking in his life.  

Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

After God created Adam, he breathed his breath upon him, and he became a living being; when he disobeyed God, the Spirit of God left him. What you need is the joy of salvation and the peace of God which passeth all understandings through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7); that is why Christ is called the prince of peace. The Gospel is called the gospel of peace. Friends, your decision to embrace Jesus will fill you with the joy of salvation, which has the power to destroy any craving and addiction or any other immoral behaviour. Those things can only give temporary relief, but the real solution is Christ in your life. He said I am life, the truth, and in him you will find comfort. He is the only trusted ally you can have in this journey of life. That part of you that is missing is Jesus. Ask him to come into your life today and fill every space that needs to be filled. THE VALIDITY OF OUR SONSHIP IN THE KINGDOM

In this kingdom, lip service and eye service do not fly because God searches the heart to see whose heart is right with him. The scripture says that the eye of the Lord is moving to and fro to see which person is connected with Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). Our relationship with God is a heart-to-heart relationship. The end will justify who the real children of the kingdom are, because every vision speaks at the end, and those who endure to the end will receive their crown. Jesus, in one of his parables, says the first shall be the last and the last shall be the first. It doesn't matter who first gave his or her life to Christ; what matters is who obeys to the end. Anyone who does the will of God is the real son and daughter of the Most High God.

Matthew 21:28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard. 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Our continuous obedience to the word of God is what validates our sonship in this kingdom. It is easy to say that you are a child of God; nobody will argue with you on that, but the validation of who is the real son is in our ability to obey His commandments and to do His will. God validates our sonship by our willingness to obey His instruction, and without obedience, there is no relationship between Him and us. Relationship is about communication, and our salvation would be questionable if one is unable to validate their connectivity to heaven in this kingdom. 

Malachi 1:6 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I become a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

God is saying that if indeed you are His son, you should honour Him, and that your validation is in honouring Him. You may ask, but Nene, how? Our anchor scripture has said all we need to know about honoring God. The sons in that parable are the typical examples of the children of obedience versus the children of disobedience. Our heavenly Father is a businessman; He has a vineyard, and we are mandated to work in His vineyard and bring profit to Him. Jesus, our example, says this about His Father's business. Luke 2:49 (And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?). John 9:4 (I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work).

Jesus said that his will is to do the work of Him that sent him and finished, and at the cross of Calvary, he said, ¨it is finished. You may ask again, which work are you referring to? Jesus came to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God by reconciling us to God and populating the kingdom. When he was departing to heaven, he gave us the same assignment that we should go into the world and preach the same gospel of repentance (Mark 16:15). If you are obeying all the commandments and you are not obeying this one, think twice about your sonship. The bible says that in the multitude of people is the king's honour, and our God is the King of kings; when you draw multitudes of souls to God, you are honouring Him. Proverbs 14:28a (In the multitude of people is the king's honour:) Jesus went about doing good, and healing all the oppressed, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom (Acts 10:38). That is exactly what he wants from us. 

Friends, if God is indeed your Father, do the work of your Father. Children are the one who has the right of inheritance, and part of our inheritance in Christ is the work of evangelism. John 5:17 (But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work).

Ephesians 2:2 (Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:)

The bible says the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience. My prayer is that you will not fall into that category, in Jesus' name. Satan is the Father of the children of disobedience, and his spirit is very active in their lives. Friends, in case God is not your Father yet, you can become His son or daughter today by being born again. You can become the children of obedience by obeying the call of salvation. Procrastination is a killer of destiny, don't wait till tomorrow because it may be too late. THE JUDGMENTAL POWER OF THE SAINT

Isaiah 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Condemning our adversaries in judgment is part of our inheritance in Christ, which means no matter what the enemies say or imagine against us, whatever we say will stand. The enemy has no final say in the affairs of our lives as believers. 

Redemption has put us in charge, and the place we give to the enemy is where he will occupy, and it will be an error to allow him to occupy any space close to you or around your territory. The secret of our victory against the adversaries lies in our boldness. That is, our ability to stand against his wiles and open our mouths boldly to destroy their decree. If David had closed his mouth against Goliath, he would not have been able to destroy him.

You are here to destroy the work of the devil; your manifestation as a son and the daughter of the Most High God is to destroy the work of the devil (1 John 3:8). And you accomplished that by decreeing judgment against him and condemning his work.

As a young believer, I stumbled into the book of (Isaiah 54:16-17), and I kept meditating on it for days. I got my boldness against the devil and his agent from these scriptures when I realized that my God is the one who created the destroyer and that even the weapons they are using against me, he created them. I understood that whatever goal Satan might have scored against me in the past was a result of my ignorance of the word of God. He even says that because He is in charge, none of those weapons fashioned against me shall prosper.

Jeremiah 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

In the later days of my walk with God, I also realized that for the scripture to find expression in my life, I need to maintain my relationship with God. I need to be sure of my position as a daughter of God. The weapon can only work against outsiders, and I don't want to fall into that category. I also realize that I have been given the power to condemn my adversaries in judgment. God will not condemn them for me because He has already given me the power to do that. His part is to confirm whatever we say.

Isaiah 44:26a (That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers);

So he is waiting for you to react against the wicked one's imagination. Like I always say in most of my messages, we don't lose battles because our God is weak; no, we lose because we don't know the weapon available at our disposal. If you believe what God is saying to you, you will always win, and your victory is guaranteed before the battle even begins, but to walk into your victory, faith is required. Faith is not just believing in the word, but taking a step to confirm your belief. Our main weapon is the word of God, and for the word to work in our hands, we need to believe in the word, and that is where Faith comes in.

I began to tell the devil that he cannot torment me because I am the daughter of the Most High God and that my father created him and all his weapons, and therefore he cannot hurt me nor harass me. I began to declare judgment. I decree judgment against you, wicked devil. I condemn all your actions against me, and because I have condemned him, he has no ground to stay. 

Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and the level of your knowledge of who he truly is will determine the level of your command of authority. The keys to bind and loose were given to Peter because he was the only disciple who correctly answered the question of Jesus Christ´s true identity. The question is, who is Jesus to you? Do you know him? If your answer is no, the first step is to surrender your life to him by praying the salvation prayer below, and then seek to know him by studying the word. Jesus himself defeated the devil by using the word of God (It is written)

I believe this message is for someone. Don't allow the devil to harass you anymore. Stand against him and condemn him in judgment. God bless you

NO LOOKING BACK

No matter how smooth or straight the road is, if it is not leading to your destination, following it will lead to frustration and waste of time and energy. The fact that you are successful on the wrong assignment does not make it right. On the contrary, if you are following the right way, no matter the discomfort, you will definitely get to your destination in due time. Every correct destination has something glorious waiting for you in it. Your ability to make a decision and stand by it is one of the qualities required for the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

A call to follow Jesus is a lifetime commitment; it is a decision that everyone on earth is expected to make. We are all created in the image of God and for a purpose. We all came down from heaven, and we are expected to return after our assignment here on earth is done. The irony of this journey is that Satan has vowed that anyone who comes to this world will not manifest their God-ordained purpose, nor will they return to God. 

Following Jesus is a one-way journey; when a decision is made, you can't look back, you have to see it through. It requires focus, so your attachment to anything or anyone will definitely cause a distraction, and it can lead to your destruction; God forbid, that will not be your portion, in Jesus name. Lot's wife looked back and became a pillar of salt; that is the danger of looking back.

Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

The rich man will be distracted if he follows Jesus without sacrificing those riches in his possession. If you cannot lay down what is in your hand, you cannot lay hold on eternal life.

The cross is the symbol of our relationship with Jesus; it is the symbol of our surrender. When people see the cross in our hands, they know that we have given up on the worldly heritage and have given our lives to Jesus as a living sacrifice. The cross is for those who are dead to self and live in Christ. The decision to follow Jesus is a lifetime commitment and no going back; God has no room for those who cannot make up their mind. He considers them to be weak, and they have no part in Him. In this kingdom, there is no room for the fainthearted; once a decision is made, you have to see it through. Once you pick up your cross to follow Jesus, it is expected that you have sacrificed everything, so that you have nothing remaining in your custody. It is a race, and you cannot carry any extra luggage aside from your cross. The cross alone is enough, and extra luggage will slow you down. The race is for the serious-minded people; the race is for those who have made up their mind to love Jesus above every other person and every other thing. Friends, you cannot be between two options, and the best option is Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Choose to follow him today by praying the salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name.

BEWARE OF SPIRITUAL GAMBLING

Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

You can't leave your life to chance; no, you have to choose a side. The undecided candidate is automatically a candidate for hell. Undecided has no room in the kingdom of God.

Every spiritual gambler will end up where they are not expecting. Hell is their home because in this kingdom, you are to consciously choose your side of the coin. You can't throw the two-sided coin and expect to get the head automatically, no. This one is different; if you refuse to choose consciously, then you will be the tail because our God has no room for gambling. Spiritual gamblers are self-centred individuals who have no place for God in their hearts; their main focus is on what they are going to gain rather than trust in the Lord. It is either God or Satan, Light or darkness, white or black; there is no grey area in this kingdom. You can either be there or here; you can't be in between two options, no, it is too risky. 

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

There is no room for the undecided; God has zero tolerance for them; He said you can either be cold or hot. The lukewarmers are undecided; they can't seem to make up their mind, they don't know what they want, they can't be in any of the camps, they can betray anyone, including themselves. Having undecided candidates in your camp is a risk; it is spiritual gambling, and it cannot fly.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Genesis 49:4 Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

The scripture describes the undecided person as unstable as water, and wavering as the sea; they are unpredictable; they cannot be trusted. They have no Faith in God, nor do they have faith in anyone. They are confused human beings; they have no direction. They are not certain of what they want to do. They live their life to gamble; these kinds of people are controlled by the situation; they are fair-weather friends, and their loyalty is not guaranteed. That is why Elijah said, " If you want to serve Baal, go ahead; if you want to stay with God, choose one side and don't stay in between two options. Even Satan does not like them because they cannot be trusted; they are on the verge. What he does to them is deception and wickedness. He knew they could change their mind anytime and at any moment. 

Friends, there is no Elijah to perform a miracle to convince you this time around. Jesus Christ has done all the conviction; the Holy Spirit has come; He is the Spirit of conviction and conversion; if your heart is too hard for him to convince and to convert you, then you have made your choice, and you have to live with your decision. When you hear anyone saying that they are agnostic or an atheist, just know that they are confused; they can't seem to make up their mind, and they are covering up. Psalm 14:1 (The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good). If you believe that someone gave birth to you, that you have a Father and a mother, and you did not appear here on earth from nowhere, if you wake up one day and say there is no God, then my answer for you is (Psalm 14:1). 

Friends, there is room for repentance; you can't remain a spiritual gambler. God loves you, and He does not want you to remain confused, and that is why Jesus Christ came to make you understand who you are and the plan of God for your life.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 

Friends, you don't need to be confused anymore, and you don't need to give God reason to spite you out of His mouth; make up your mind today and follow the one true God by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name.

THE TWO SIDES OF THE COIN

Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Life has presented each of us with a coin with two sides, and you can only choose one. Life is full of choices, but there is one major choice every man needs to make, which is the choice of serving and obeying one true God. This is very critical because it is the transport that will take us through the journey of destiny. Your choice will determine your position on the coin, which is why the issue of choice matters to God.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

You are either the head or the tail; there is no in between, and you cannot be in two places at the same time. You cannot be the head and the tail at the same time. You need to make your choice. You can't have two masters, and you have only one way to your destination. God has all the power to force us to serve and obey Him, but he chooses not to. You can't blame God for the outcome of your life; you are absolutely responsible for how the events of your life turn out. 

Deuteronomy 30:19 (I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:)

In the kingdom of God, there is no space for the in between; The in between is the undecided. Our God has zero tolerance for those who cannot make up their mind. Revelation 3:16 (So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth). When  God spits you out, guess who will grab you, Satan, the devil. I kind of find it funny whenever I minister Christ to people, and they say they want to think about it. Friends, life is not waiting for anyone; whether you are moving or not, the pages of your life will keep flipping. 

 

Your work with God will determine your position in this journey; everything about your life depends on your ability to obey God´s commandments. The outcome of your life is subject to your choice. 

John 8:34 (Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin).

If you choose to be in darkness, then you have chosen to be a servant of Satan, the devil, and you will begin to bear fruit after your root, but if you choose to follow God and obey His commandments, then you will surely be the head. Every tree will bear fruit after its root; an evil tree will bring forth evil fruit, and a good tree will bring forth good fruit. Everyone shall be judged by the fruit they produce. We, the children of the kingdom, are the tree of righteousness, and by our fruit we shall be judged. 

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 

 

God does not want you to gamble with your destiny, and that is why He set a standard for you to follow. Our manual is the bible; it is the blueprint of our lives. His plan for you is good, not evil (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants you to have an expected end; He wants you to have a great future. God want to be proud of you and that is why he is concerned about your future, as long as you continue to hold on to the manual and walk your way through it you will arrive at your glorious future, He said you He will make you the head and not the tail; He has given you the expo of the future He want you to arrive at but He is not going to choose for you,. To be the head, and not the tail, is going to be your decision to make based on your work with Him. It is His will for you to be the head, but it is your responsibility to decide whether you want to be the head or not. Friends, the two-sided coin is in your hand. What are you saying? 

Choose to be the head today by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU? REVELATION 12:1-17

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Choice is an inevitable part of human life; God has given every man willpower to choose which side they want to belong to (Deuteronomy 30:19). You can't be silent about your choice because whether you like it or not, you have made your choice, consciously or unconsciously a decision has been made, one may ask but Nene, it is my life, why must i choose a side? The issue of choice has been settled before your arrival here on earth, so it is not a matter of debate; you are born into it. Your choice will determine your victory, so choose wisely. 

Your choice matters. God can see your struggle, but He can't help you because of your choice. If you are in the wrong camp, there is nothing He can do for you; that is why He has created an avenue to your decamping.

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

 

Before we go further, I want you to understand that darkness is not a match for God; it exists because God allows it. The same God who says let there be light in the beginning and light shows up, He is still the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. 

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The battle between light and darkness has been won before it began. God created the whole world. He is the creator of the universe, and everything is under His control. Choosing darkness over light is foolishness, and that is who Satan has been; the day he chose to rebel against God is the day his foolishness was confirmed, and anyone who stays in his camp is more foolish than his or her master. Michael and his Angel fought against the dragon, but God did not shift from His throne.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. 

Life is a battlefield, and every believer is called into a race, and everyone in a race has one thing in mind: the crown. We are called to war, the war is between light and darkness. Your winning in life and your breakthroughs are all subject to your choice. Satan has vowed to fight anyone who chooses to be on the side of God, but that should not scare you into surrendering to his rule because he has been condemned. Anyone who chooses to be on the side of darkness is already condemned unto eternal damnation. You will not be his victim, in Jesus name. 

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

He is fighting your throne; he is fighting your crown. Please don't hand it over to him; fight your way through, stay with God, and He will fight your battle for you. If you are in the wrong camp, you will be fighting the wrong battle, and that is why you need to make a wise choice today, so that God can hear your cry for help. To decamp from the camp of the enemy is very simple; all you need to do is open your mouth and say yes to Jesus by praying the salvation prayer below, and be free from the camp of Satan. 

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me so that I could become a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!

WHY MUST I FOLLOW JESUS?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Your success in this journey of life depends on your choice of way, because no matter how fast you move in the wrong direction, you will not arrive at your desired destination. We came to this world for an assignment, and Satan has vowed to hijack every soul that came to this world, and he has been doing so successfully after the fall of man. To rescue man's soul from the captivity of the devil, Jesus came to the world. God told Adam if you eat the fruit, you shall die, the death of Adam was not physical; it was the Spirit of God that left him, and to be alive again, we need the same Spirit of God. Man lost signal from heaven, and to be successful in our journey here on earth, we need a signal; our spiritual antenna has to be connected to heaven´s frequency. 

John 8:12 Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

The whole world lies in darkness and wickedness, and without light, our journey here on earth will be full of frustration. Jesus came as light to the world. He came to lighten everyone who comes to the world. And anyone who receives and believes in him, he will give them power to become a light and to fulfil their original purpose (John 1:12 and Matthew 5:14-16).

Luke 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Man was in a state of confusion as to which way to go until the coming of Jesus. Jesus Christ is the way that leads us to heaven; every man was heading to hell until Christ came. Many are lost, many are confused, and many are stuck in one place. Jesus is the Prince of peace, and he came to guide our feet into the way of peace. Hell was not designed for humans; it is meant for Satan and his fallen angels. He has created so many avenues to stop man from achieving his purpose and returning to heaven. Jesus came to show man the way back to the Father. He came to show man a way to fulfil his destiny; he came to show man how to live a heavenly lifestyle on earth despite the devil's existence. Without Jesus, our journey back to heaven will not be possible. He is the way that we need to follow. No matter how charitable you are, if you are not following the way, you will not make it to heaven, so let no man deceive you. 

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Jesus Christ is the truth and life, and without him no man can see God, and you can't get back to where you came from. He came from there, he fulfilled his assignment and went back, and he is the only one who can show us the way back without hindrance. He fought the dragon and gave him open disgrace.

John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

When you follow Jesus, he will give you the understanding of who you truly are, because without the understanding of your origin, you will think you just came here to eat and drink. He is the root, and we are the branches. Without him, we can do nothing. He is the way that leads us back to God. Your success is tied to your attachment to your root, which is Jesus. Friends, you need to follow those who know the road, and Jesus is the road himself. Without him, you will remain in darkness, unable to make progress; without him, you will remain among the dead, and the dead cannot make progress. Adam died and all his seed; that is why you need to be born again and receive life eternal. Let the Spirit of God that departed come back inside of you and give you life.

THE REASON FOR THE JOURNEY

You are not a biological accident, and you are not for experiment; you are the real deal; you are part of heaven's agenda. You are here to fulfil a purpose; God perfectly plans everything about your being to fulfil the exact purpose He created you for. The responsibility of finding your purpose lies with you; you will be held accountable for the outcome of your life. That is why you need to take your life seriously because you are not on your own; there is a higher power behind your existence. If you are a parent, can you deny the fact and the truth that you have a child, in the same way you cannot deny that you come from somewhere?. 

. 

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The reason for our journey here on earth is to represent God by replicating the beauty of heaven. His agenda was very clear before we were formed in His image and His likeness. 

We are here on earth to contribute our part to heaven´s agenda, and what you need to be a better contributor has been planted inside of you. The irony of this journey is that many will continue to walk up and down aimlessly without releasing the potential buried inside of them. 

According to the above scripture, everything man needed to be like God was given to him. The first man, Adam, demonstrated that power by naming all the animals (Genesis 2:19-20). So, we have the mind of God to act and to do things like Him. There was no curse when God created man; He blessed man and gave him dominion to operate freely at will. 

The love of God for humanity brought tears to the eyes of Satan, the devil, and he began to look for a weak moment to steal what man has, which he successfully did. Satan's action brought separation between God and man and ushered in curses, which are the opposite of blessings (Genesis 3:1-24). The reason for Satan's rebellion was to be like God, and he was cast down; what pained him the most, which made him hate humanity and vow to destroy us, was that God gave us freely that which Satan sought by rebellion. 

The agenda of Satan is to make sure that any man who comes to this world is permanently disconnected from God and not able to go back or achieve the original purpose for which he was created. When a branch is disconnected from its source, the probability of producing fruit is now zero (John 15:1-5). That is the exact situation man finds himself in after the fall in the Garden of Eden. We are meant to produce fruit after our root, and Jesus Christ is the root and the offspring of David. Revelation 22:16 (I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star).

Genesis 2:7 (And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul).

The spirit of God, which is the mind of God that gave man power and dominion to produce fruit after the likeness of God, departed to where it comes from. The spirit of God in man is the connecting link that links us to heaven. He is the power behind our dominion and extraordinary performance. Man started to produce evil fruit in the likeness of Satan because the original purpose had been corrupted. Corruption came into the world through Satan's deception. Man lost his signal, and his connection to heaven, and he began to walk aimlessly in the world without direction. 

Since we are on a journey, we have a destination, which is our destiny manifestation, and to return to heaven where we came from. Our journey back to God is subject to the good fruit we bear, which is no longer possible because the seed has been corrupted. Since they cannot live forever, they have to go somewhere, and that place is hell, where Satan and his angels are. One may ask, Nene, do you mean all the saints in the Old Testament before Jesus were in hell? No, they were resting at the place called Abraham's bosom (Luke 16:22-26). But before resurrection, Christ descended there to preach the gospel to them (Ephesians 4:8-10). Acts 2:26 (Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption).

Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Friends, to make it back to heaven, you need to follow Jesus; that is why he came to lead you and me on our journey. He is the way, and there is no other way to go to God. Today is another opportunity to make that choice if you have not yet done that; quickly pray the salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus ' name
